What is Wombourne K.O.S.S.M.I.C.?
Wombourne K.O.S.S.M.I.C. stands for Kids Of South Staffordshire Making It Count. We are a charity for children, offering a four week schedule of trips and activities during the summer holidays.

How can I join?
Registrations are now being accepted for this year. If you would like to join, please contact us for more information.. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration costs £4 and covers all activities at the drop-in centre.

What is the age range?
All children between the ages of 10 (going into school year 6 in September) and 16 can join. For those between 16 and 18 who want to get involved, we offer a volunteer programme which has opportunities for training and further development.

What is the drop-in?
In our opinion, the drop-in is one of the most important things that we offer. All young people who register on the scheme can come along to any of the drop-in days, which are held in Ounsdale School Hall. Drop-ins are a great opportunity for those moving into year 7 at Ounsdale to get to know other people, or to have fun with existing friends.

What activities are available at the drop-in?
Xbox360, 2 pool tables, air hockey, football tables, table tennis, board games, just to mention a few of the activities that are availalbe free of charge. We also have free use of school playing field for cricket, football, and the tennis courts, basketball, netball. Also on some days we have craft sessions, inflatables and barbeques. The swimming pool in the leisure centre is also available at a reduced cost.

All these activities at the drop-ins are included in the £4 registration fee.

Are there any activities outside the summer holidays?
Yes! We regularly have activities during half terms. Keep an eye on the website for more information.

How do I book onto a trip?
Come along to the drop-in where we will be able to register you and you can buy any tickets.

How can I make comments or suggestions?
If there is anything you would like to say, send us an email. We are always looking for new ideas to make the scheme better for all.

How Can I get involved as a helper?
We are always looking for new volunteers. If you are interested and have some time to spare during the school holidays, we would love to hear from you.

How can I donate money?
As a registered charity we welcome all donations, small or large. Please contact us for more details.
