Wombourne KOSSMIC, or Kids of South Staffordshire Making It Count, provides children with a four week schedule of events, with days out, sporting competitions, prizes and a drop-in centre during the summer holidays.

Thanks to all people who made this year’s scheme successful. A good time was had by all who participated, many of the new trips were enjoyed and we will look at them again for next year. This year we subsidised the cost of the coaches so the trips were at the lowest cost yet. We will be trying to do this again for next year, with possibly even more funding to reduce the cost of trips even more.
A lot of good comments have been taken from the questionnaires filled out during the last few days of the scheme. If you didn’t get a chance to fill one out and you have something you would like to share with us, good or bad, please get in touch!

All our trips are quickly selling out. If you still haven’t registered or got your tickets, they are available from Julie direct or there may be a few left at the first drop-in on the 31st July. Don’t miss out, book now to avoid disappointment!
Our programme of events for 2007 is now finished. We have some new trips – Monkey Forest, Think Tank, Ice Skating and Rifle Shooting, as well as the old favourites like Alton Towers and Waterworld.
The first chance for registration is at the Wombourne Carnival on 1st July so come visit our stall! We will also be coming round schools for registrations.
Tickets go on sale on Saturday 21st July from 10am in Ounsdale High School dining room. You will also be able to register on this day if you haven’t been able to.
We are returning to Woodlands Camp this year on 30th May – 1st June. This popular break promises to be better than ever this year! If you haven’t booked your place yet, email us as soon as possible as the places are filling up.
